A new multi-stakeholder initiative dedicated to shaping a democratic, values-driven digital future for Europe.

On 19–20 March 2026 in Leuven, 30 civil society activists, European technology experts, and academics came together to co-create a shared vision for techno-democracy. Together, they began developing a common Blueprint, an Action Plan to coordinate future initiatives, and a Memorandum of Understanding to formalise their collaboration.

As digital innovation continues to transform our societies, this initiative responds to a pressing need: ensuring that technological development in Europe aligns with democratic values, fundamental rights, and citizen empowerment.
