NGOwise is an AI-powered platform that helps civil society organizations find funding, manage projects, and complete donor reporting, reducing administrative burden and strengthening their sustainability.
NGOwise began in 2025 as an independent project initiated by a nonprofit project manager after observing how administrative and fundraising requirements consume a large portion of civil society organizations’ time and limit their ability to serve communities.
The platform is designed primarily for small and medium-sized civil society organizations, grassroots initiatives, and NGOs that do not have dedicated fundraising or compliance staff but still need to apply for grants, manage projects, and complete donor reporting. It is especially relevant for organizations working in under-resourced environments and transition economies, although the goal is global applicability.
NGOwise combines funding discovery, proposal drafting support, project tracking, and reporting assistance in a single workflow. By automating repetitive operational tasks and guiding organizations through donor requirements, the project aims to increase funding access, transparency, and operational sustainability across the nonprofit sector. The intended impact is to allow organizations to spend more time delivering services to beneficiaries and less time on administrative processes.
The project is currently in an early pilot stage. We are onboarding a small number of partner organizations to co-design the platform and test it using a guided process and demo environment.
Nonprofits, civic organizations, and sector practitioners can help by participating as pilot partners, sharing feedback on their operational and fundraising challenges, or connecting me with organizations that may benefit from the tool.
