When did it begin? MOVEMENTS was founded in 2025, born out of a frustration its founders had witnessed firsthand: activists and grassroots organizers were juggling petitions on one platform, community management on another, fundraising on a third, and communications scattered across multiple tools — with no cohesive infrastructure to hold it all together. The founding team brings deep, proven experience in this space, having previously built and scaled activism platforms internationally, including leading Change.org in Spain to 12.5 million users.
