At CoAfina 2025, university students from across Latin America will have the opportunity to develop collaborative solutions to scientific and educational challenges using open access data. This virtual hackathon will take place remotely from November 7 to 9.

Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes and enjoy the experience of being part of a Latin American community of students and professionals in science, technology, and education.

You don't need to have a team beforehand: CoAfina will help you meet other students and build multidisciplinary teams, where each member contributes from their area of expertise.

Support for participants CoAfina recognizes that conditions in our region are unequal, including limitations in connectivity, operating expenses, family responsibilities, and other logistical difficulties. For this reason, a financial aid fund has been set up to subsidize items that facilitate virtual participation.
