In the US and Brazil, Claude sends users asking about elections to trusted civic sources

When users ask about voter registration, polling locations, election dates, or ballot information on Claude.ai, Claude displays an election banner pointing them to trusted sources. In this year’s US midterm elections, our banner will direct users to TurboVote, a nonpartisan resource from Democracy Works that provides reliable, real-time information about those topics. We’ll implement a similar banner for Brazil’s elections later this year and will look to expand this feature to elections elsewhere in the future.
